Three ways to be part of it

Give

Every dollar goes to programs. A gift feeds friends at the Tuesday lunch or plants a garden bed.

Donate now

Volunteer

Cook a lunch, spend a Saturday in the Bronte garden, or visit a refugee friend.

See how to help

Come along

Our end-of-year picnic in Bronte brings members and refugee friends together.

Next event

Cook a Tuesday lunch

Newtown · teams of 3 to 4 · once a month or so

Shop, cook and serve a hot lunch for up to 50 guests at the Asylum Seekers Centre. No experience needed, just a free morning.

Spend a Saturday in the garden

Bronte · Saturday mornings

Weed, plant, harvest and pack the weekly delivery for Jarjum College. Bring gloves and a hat.

Visit a friend

Across Sydney · flexible

Accompany a refugee friend to an appointment, help with a form, or just share a coffee. Charity will pair you with someone.

Run by volunteers

No paid staff. Board members cook, garden and visit like everyone else.

Registered charity

Accredited by the ACNC and independent of any religious or political party.

100% to programs

Community funded. Your donation pays for food, seedlings, prizes and transport.

Every one of us is a volunteer. That is the whole idea.
