Volunteers serving lunch

Our Programs

Three pillars, all run by volunteers, all funded by our community.

Solidarity & Compassion

Since 2012 · Newtown, Villawood and homes across Sydney

Hot lunches every Tuesday at the Asylum Seekers Centre, regular visits to refugee friends, and a picnic every December.

Environment & Food Security

Saturdays · Bronte community garden

Organic, seasonal produce grown by volunteers and delivered every week to Jarjum College in Redfern.

Art, Sport & Education

Schools across Sydney

The Journey art prize, Jarjum College soccer sponsorship, and creative projects that help young people find their voice.

Every December

The end-of-year picnic

Members, volunteers and refugee friends together for one long lunch on the grass in Bronte. Bring a plate, meet everyone. It’s the day that says most about who we are.
